Сookie Processing Policy

This Policy defines the policy of PT Farsight Villas Management Company (hereinafter referred to as the Operator) regarding the use and Processing of Cookies when Users (hereinafter referred to as the User, Visitor) visit the Operator's official Website (hereinafter referred to as the Website, the Internet site).

The Policy uses references to the Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (“ PDP Law ”), that was enacted into law on 17 October 2022, providing a new overarching framework for personal data protection in Indonesia.

The Policy is subject to updating as necessary due to changes in legal requirements, the introduction of new technologies and for other reasons.

1. General Information

Cookies are text files that are sent to your computer when you visit a Website. The purpose of the use of Cookies is to ensure the comfort of the Users of the Website and to improve the quality of its functioning. Cookies can be collected, systematized, stored, modified, used, depersonalized, blocked or deleted using automated tools.

The following terms and definitions are used in this Policy:

  • Information about the network (IP) address of the User's device, browser type, hardware and software of the User's device from which the Website was accessed.

2. Cookies Types

The Website uses (or may use) the following types of cookies:

  • Functional
  • Third party

2.1 Session cookies, also known as temporary Cookies, exist only in the RAM of the computer (mobile device) while the User's browser displays the Website page. Browsers usually delete session Cookies after the User closes the browser window, i.e. session Cookies are stored until the end of the User's session.

2.2 Operational Cookies collect information about how the User interacts with the Website. For example, which pages the User visits, whether errors occur during visits, and to test different interfaces of the Website. Such Cookies do not collect information that would allow you to identify a visitor and are used solely to improve the operation of the Website, to better understand what Users like and to measure the effectiveness of advertising. Third party Cookies that are necessary for the operation of third party services are stored in accordance with the policies of the relevant third party sites. For example:

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager use Cookies to collect and analyze anonymous information about the actions of the Website Visitors. This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it in order to compile reports on Website activity for the Operator.

3. Management, Control and Deletion of Cookie Files

4. Disabling Cookies on the Operator's Website Procedure
